The sound of the Big Mo Band centers loosely around the classic New Orleans Jazz and Blues genres with some Funk Soul and R&B added to spice up the gumbo. Big Mo calls it Southern Soul !

The 5-piece group features the rich baritone voice of Jazz 88 radio DJ, Mr. David Mosby, along with a tight, funky band with piano, drums, bass and sax.

The Big Mo group plays some originals and borrows tunes from such greats as, Ray Charles, Lee Dorsey, Professor Longhair, Dr. John, Big Joe Williams, Jobim, The Funky Metes and the list goes on….
